Suitable for most outdoor hard surfaces, this sodium hypochlorite cleaner should be tested before use on painted finishes, untreated metals, and some natural stone. Rinse thoroughly after application. Wear gloves and eye protection, use in a well ventilated area, and never mix with other chemicals. Keep away from children, pets, garden beds, and drains. Store sealed in the original container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, acids, and ammonia. For best results, use within 3 to 6 months, as strength can reduce over time.

Description

14–15% Sodium Hypochlorite solution is suitable for swimming pool sanitation, algae control, patio and driveway cleaning, and general outdoor surface disinfection when properly diluted and used as directed. When diluted correctly, it is highly effective at removing green algae, moss, lichen and organic staining from block paving, concrete and paving slabs. Always test a small area first.

This product is supplied at a professional strength concentration of 14–15%. Dilution rates depend on the application and level of soiling. Always dilute appropriately for your specific use and follow our guidance. Sodium Hypochlorite is commonly used as liquid chlorine for swimming pool sanitation and algae control when dosed correctly.
Sodium Hypochlorite is suitable for many hard surfaces including concrete and block paving, but it should always be tested on a small inconspicuous area first. Avoid contact with delicate surfaces, metals, and fabrics.

Always wear appropriate protective equipment, avoid mixing with acids or other chemicals, use in well-ventilated areas, and store securely away from children and pets.

 

  1. Pour the product into an garden sprayer or watering can, then mix the product with water at the appropriate ratio for the surface.
  2. Apply evenly across the surface, ensuring full coverage of stained areas. Avoid overspray onto plants, grass or nearby metal fixtures.
  3. Agitate the area and allow the solution to dwell for 10-15 minutes to break down organic growth. Do not allow the product to dry.
  4. Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water or use a pressure washer for enhanced results, removing loosened tough spots.
  5. Allow the patio to dry fully and inspect the surface area. Repeat the process on any heavily affected areas if necessary.
