For the first time in the UK, Hyundai have produced 3-phase compressors, and the HY75270-3 has been introduced to compete with output and quality with the more established brands on the UK market. The HY75270-3 is a brand new 400v 3-phase belt drive air compressor from Hyundai. The larger of two new models to the Hyundai air compressor range, and developed using industrial specification and parts for the discerning pro user, along with the smaller model, the HY55200-3, Hyundai have utilised the best components to ensure that these compressors are built to an extremely high standard, and they are assembled and tested in the UK, conforming to the latest European standards 09/105CE. The 7.5hp 3-phase electric heavy duty industrial motor includes overload protection, and coupled with the large tank and the belt driven twin cylinder pumps, which are slow running to give lower noise and longer life expectency. It has aerodynamic flywheels for efficient cooling of the components. The tank receiver is also larger than standard Hyundai air compressor models, at the 270L capacity, it is the biggest tank available in the Hyundai rangem, and it is these key features help to output a maximum of free air delivery (FAD) of 23cfm. There is a high quality finish given to the HY75270-3 which completes it’s impressive appearance and specification. It is a compressor that is designed to work hard, and has some standard to automatic start and stop control and a cast iron cylinder block. As with the smaller 3-phase compressor from this range, the HY75270-3 also comes with 1/2 BSP female outlet, fitted with aftercoolers and is pre-wired ready to install for ease and speed of use. Compressor CarePressure safety valves on Hyundai air compressors have been updated in compliance with the latest CE certification standards. The pressure release pull ring has been removed from the safety valve to prevent it being misused to drain the air from the compressor tank, causing excessive wear to the valve.
